حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ، قَالَ: فَهَبَّتْ رِيحٌ شَدِيدَةٌ، فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ لِمَوْتِ مُنَافِقٍ، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ إِذَا هُوَ قَدْ مَاتَ مُنَافِقٌ عَظِيمٌ مِنْ عُظَمَاءِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey. He said: A strong wind blew, and he said, 'This is for the death of a hypocrite.' He said: When we arrived in Madinah, indeed a great hypocrite among the greatest of the hypocrites had died.
