حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
رُمِيَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فِي أَكْحَلِهِ، فَحَسَمَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدِهِ بِمِشْقَصٍ، ثُمَّ وَرِمَتْ، فَحَسَمَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ.

✧ Saʿd b. Muʿādh was struck in his median arm vein, so the Messenger of God ﷺ cauterized it with his hand using a broad-headed arrow. Then it swelled, so he cauterized it a second time.
