حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، نَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ، نَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا.

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ We used to practice tamattu' during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, sacrificing a cow on behalf of seven, sharing in it.
