✧ We approached with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Liyyah until, when we were at the lote tree, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped at the edge of the black horn opposite it, and he faced Nakhb with his gaze — meaning a valley — and he stood until all the people had stopped. Then he said: The game of Wajj and its thorny trees are a sanctuary, forbidden for Allah. That was before he descended upon al-Ṭāʾif and besieged Thaqīf.

machine translationHe is Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Insān al-Ṭāʾifī, the sole narrator of it; he used to make mistakes. This implies the hadith is weak (ḍaʿīf), since he has no other hadith; if he erred in it, then it is weak.
