حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ
أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ غُلَامًا لَهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ [رَسُولُ اللهِ] ﷺ: مَنْ يَبْتَاعُهُ مِنِّي ؟ فَقَالَ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ: أَنَا أَبْتَاعُهُ. فَابْتَاعَهُ
Translation

✧ A man during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ freed a slave of his by tadbir (a posthumous manumission), while he had no other property. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who will buy him from me? Nu'aym b. Abdullah said: I will buy him. So he bought him.
