حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ عِنْدَ الزَّوَالِ، فَاحْتَاجَ أَصْحَابُهُ إِلَى الْوُضُوءِ، قَالَ: فَجِيءَ بِقَعْبٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ يَسِيرٌ، فَوَضَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كَفَّهُ فِيهِ، فَجَعَلَ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ الْقَوْمُ كُلُّهُمْ. قُلْتُ: كَمْ كُنْتُمْ؟ قَالَ: زُهَاءَ ثَلَاثِمِائَةٍ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was present at midday, and his companions needed to perform ablution. He said: A wooden bowl containing a little water was brought, and the Prophet ﷺ placed his palm in it, and water began to gush from between his fingers until all the people performed ablution. I said, “How many were you?” He said, “About three hundred.”
