حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to begin the recitation after the takbir with “Al-hamdu lillahi rabbi l-alamin” in the prayer.
