حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍعَنْ أَنَسٍ

ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ حَلَاوَةَ الْإِيمَانِ: مَنْ كَانَ اللهُ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] وَرَسُولُهُ [ ﷺ ] أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَالرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الرَّجُلَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلهِ، وَالرَّجُلُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ فِي النَّارِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ يَهُودِيًّا أَوْ نَصْرَانِيًّا

Translation

✧ Three things, whoever has them finds the sweetness of faith: that God [Mighty and Majestic] and His Messenger ﷺ are more beloved to him than anything else; that a man loves another man only for the sake of God; and that a man would prefer to be thrown into the Fire rather than return to being a Jew or a Christian.
