حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَثَابِتٌ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman used to begin the recitation with 'Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.'
