حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ
كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّهُ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى لَا تُمْطِرَ السَّمَاءُ وَلَا تُنْبِتَ الْأَرْضُ، وَحَتَّى يَكُونَ لِخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً الْقَيِّمُ الْوَاحِدُ، وَحَتَّى إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ لَتَمُرُّ بِالْبَعْلِ، فَيَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا، فَيَقُولُ: لَقَدْ كَانَ لِهَذِهِ مَرَّةً رَجُلٌ
Translation

✧ We used to say that the Hour will not come until the sky does not rain and the earth does not grow, and until there is one guardian for fifty women, and until a woman passes by a man, and he looks at her and says: 'This woman once had a man.'
