حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ حَارِثَةُ أُصِيبَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ حَارِثَةَ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، إِنْ كَانَ ابْنِي أَصَابَ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِلَّا أَجْهَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْبُكَاءَ، قَالَ: يَا أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ، إِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ فِي جَنَّةٍ، وَإِنَّ حَارِثَةَ أَصَابَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الْأَعْلَى

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. Anas b. Mālik

✧ Harithah was struck on the day of Badr. Umm Harithah said: “O Prophet of God, if my son attained Paradise, then fine; otherwise I will exert myself in weeping over him.” He said: “O Umm Harithah, they are many gardens in a Garden, and Harithah attained the highest Firdaws.”
