✧ I was with the Messenger of God ﷺ in his house. A man came to him and said: “O Messenger of God, when is the Hour?” He said: “It is surely coming, but what have you prepared for it?” He said: “By God, O Messenger of God, I have not prepared for it much in the way of deeds, except that I love God and His Messenger.” He said: “You will be with those you love, and you will have what you have hoped for.” He said: Then the Messenger of God ﷺ stood to pray. When he finished his prayer, he said: “Where is the one who asked about the Hour?” The man was brought to him. The Messenger of God ﷺ looked toward the house, and there was a young boy from Daws, from the clan of Abu Hurayrah, called Sa‘d b. Malik. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “This boy, if he lives long enough, will not reach old age before the Hour comes.”

machine translationHe transmitted through the route of al-Ḥasan, from Anas, that a man asked about the Hour, and he mentioned a hadith. He said: "Then he looked at a boy from Daws called Saʿd." This was transmitted by al-Bārūdī in al-Ṣaḥābah, and its chain is good (ḥasan).
