✧ That his mother Umm Sulaym asked the Messenger of God ﷺ, saying: “The woman sees in her dream what the man sees.” He said: “If she sees that in her dream, let her perform ghusl.” Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, said, feeling shy: “Does this really happen, O Messenger of God?” He said: “Yes. Then from where does resemblance come? The man’s fluid is white and thick, and the woman’s fluid is yellow and thin. Whichever of them precedes or prevails, resemblance comes from it.”
