✧ I was sitting with 'Ali when a man entered upon him wearing travel clothes, and he sought permission to see 'Ali while he was speaking to the people, so he was distracted from him. 'Ali said, 'I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and with him was 'A'ishah. He said to me, "How will you be with a people of such and such?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." Then he repeated, and I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "A people who will come out from the direction of the east, reciting the Qur'an but it will not pass beyond their collarbones; they will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through the game. Among them is a man with a deformed hand, as if his hand is the breast of an Abyssinian woman. I adjure you by Allah, have I told you that he is among them?"'
