حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
كَانَ يُغِيرُ عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، فَكَانَ يَسْتَمِعُ، فَإِنْ سَمِعَ أَذَانًا أَمْسَكَ وَإِلَّا أَغَارَ، فَاسْتَمَعَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ: الْفِطْرَةِ، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، فَقَالَ: خَرَجْتَ مِنَ النَّارِ

✧ He used to raid at the time of the dawn prayer. He would listen, and if he heard the call to prayer, he would refrain, otherwise he would raid. He listened one day and heard a man saying: 'God is greatest, God is greatest.' He said: 'Upon the fitra.' Then he said: 'I bear witness that there is no god but God.' He said: 'You have come out of the Fire.'
