حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ لِعُمَرَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَمَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ، وَعَنِ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبَرَ، وَعَنِ الْمُبْتَلَى حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ

Translation

✧ The pen has been lifted from three: from the sleeper until he wakes, from the young child until he grows up, and from the afflicted until he regains his intellect.
