✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Haliq the Christian, asking him to send some garments on credit. I went to him and said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sent me to you so that you send him some garments on credit." He said: "What is credit? When is credit? By Allah, Muhammad has no bleating sheep or grumbling camel!" I returned and came to the Prophet ﷺ. When he saw me, he said: "The enemy of Allah has lied. I am the best of those who trade. For one of you to wear a garment made of various patches is better for him than to take, through his trust or in his trust, what he does not possess."
