✧ He heard Anas b. Malik describing the Prophet ﷺ as he wished to describe him. He said: Then I heard Anas say: The Prophet ﷺ was of medium height among the people, neither short nor conspicuously tall. He was fair, not dark brown, nor extremely white. He had wavy hair, neither straight nor tightly curled. He was sent at the age of forty, stayed in Makkah for ten years and in Madinah for ten years, and died at the age of sixty, with not twenty white hairs on his head and beard.

machine translationGod took him in death at the head of sixty years; this is one of the two statements of Anas, and in the other narration from him it is sixty-three. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbbās, Muʿāwiyah and ʿĀʾishah agreed with him on that, and it is the soundest of the statements and the soundest of the narrations, according to what al-Bukhārī mentioned.
