حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ فِي بَعْضِ حُجَرِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ؛ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَيْهِ فَأَخَذَ مِشْقَصًا أَوْ مَشَاقِصَ - شَكَّ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ -، ثُمَّ مَشَى إِلَيْهِ، فَجَعَلَ يَخْتِلُهُ، فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ لِيَطْعَنَ بِهَا

Translation

  4. Jaddih Anas b. Mālik

✧ A man looked into one of the chambers of the Prophet ﷺ, so the Prophet ﷺ stood up toward him and took an arrowhead or arrowheads - 'Ubayd Allah was uncertain - then walked toward him, making as if to hide and approach him, and it is as if I can see him intending to pierce him with it.
