حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

وَصَفَ لَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا، فَرَكَعَ فَاسْتَوَى قَائِمًا حَتَّى رَأَى بَعْضُنَا أَنَّهُ قَدْ نَسِيَ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَاسْتَوَى قَاعِدًا حَتَّى رَأَى بَعْضُنَا أَنَّهُ قَدْ نَسِيَ، ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى قَاعِدًا

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Sulaymān
  3. Thābit

✧ Anas b. Malik described to us the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ. Then he stood to lead us in prayer. He bowed and then stood straight until some of us thought he had forgotten. Then he prostrated and then sat upright until some of us thought he had forgotten. Then he sat upright.
