حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ

هَلْ خَضَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ رَأَى مِنَ الشَّيْبِ إِلَّا [يَعْنِي] يَسِيرًا وَقَدْ خَضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، أَحْسِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ

Translation

✧ Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dye his hair? He said: He had not seen any gray hair except a little. Abu Bakr and Umar dyed theirs, I think with henna and katam.
