حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

يُؤْتَى بِأَنْعَمِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَيُصْبَغُ فِي النَّارِ صَبْغَةً، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لَهُ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، هَلْ رَأَيْتَ خَيْرًا قَطُّ، هَلْ مَرَّ بِكَ نَعِيمٌ قَطُّ، فَيَقُولُ: لَا وَاللهِ يَا رَبِّ، وَيُؤْتَى بِأَشَدِّ النَّاسِ [بُؤْسًا] فِي الدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيُصْبَغُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ صَبْغَةً، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، هَلْ رَأَيْتَ بُؤْسًا قَطُّ، هَلْ مَرَّ بِكَ شِدَّةٌ قَطُّ، فَيَقُولُ: لَا وَاللهِ يَا رَبِّ، مَا مَرَّ بِي بُؤْسٌ قَطُّ، وَلَا رَأَيْتُ شِدَّةً قَطُّ

Translation

✧ The most blessed person of the people of this world among the people of Hell will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, dipped once in the Fire, then it will be said to him: O son of Adam, have you ever seen any good? Has any comfort ever come to you? He will say: No, by Allah, O Lord. And the most miserable person in the world among the people of Paradise will be brought, dipped once in Paradise, then it will be said to him: O son of Adam, have you ever seen any misery? Has any hardship ever come to you? He will say: No, by Allah, O Lord, no misery has ever come to me, and I have never seen any hardship.
