حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ: أَحَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، هِيَ حَرَامٌ حَرَّمَهَا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، لَا يُخْتَلَى خَلَاهَا، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

Translation

✧ I asked Anas b. Malik: Did the Messenger of God ﷺ declare Madinah sacred? He said: Yes, it is a sanctuary that God and His Messenger have made sacred; its vegetation is not to be cut. Whoever does that, upon him is the curse of God, the angels, and all people.
