حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا لَمْ يَسْتَعْجِلْ. قَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْجِلُ ؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُ: دَعَوْتُ رَبِّي فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِبْ لِي

Translation

✧ A servant continues to be in good as long as he does not seek to hasten. They said: “O Prophet of God, how does he seek to hasten?” He said: “He says: ‘I called upon my Lord, but He did not answer me.’”
