✧ We entered upon Anas b. Malik after noon and he stood to pray the 'asr. When he finished his prayer, we mentioned hastening the prayer—or he mentioned it—and he said, “I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: ‘That is the prayer of the hypocrites, that is the prayer of the hypocrites. One of them sits until the sun turns yellow and is between the two horns of the devil—or: on the horn of the devil—then he rises and pecks out four [rak'as], not remembering God in them except a little.’”
