حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
كَانَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَزَعٌ، فَاسْتَعَارَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَرَسًا لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ - يُقَالُ لَهُ: مَنْدُوبٌ - فَرَكِبَهُ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ: مَا رَأَيْنَا مِنْ فَزَعٍ، وَإِنْ وَجَدْنَاهُ لَبَحْرًا

✧ There was an alarm in Madinah, so the Prophet ﷺ borrowed a horse from Abu Talhah, called Mandub, and rode it. Then he came back and said, 'We saw no cause for alarm, and we found it to be [swift as] a sea.'
