حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ جَمَعَ الْأَنْصَارَ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا: لَا، إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍ لَنَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ - أَوْ قَالَ: مِنَ الْقَوْمِ -،
Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered the Ansar and said: Is there anyone among you other than yourselves? They said: No, except a son of our sister. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The son of a people's sister is from themselves — or he said: from the people.
