حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ: مَنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَ اللهُ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى] وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَمَنْ كَانَ أَنْ يُلْقَى فِي النَّارِ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِي الْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْقَذَهُ اللهُ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] مِنْهُ

✧ Three things, whoever has them finds the taste of faith: one who loves a person only for God's sake; one to whom God [Blessed and Exalted is He] and His Messenger are dearer than anything else; and one who would prefer to be thrown into the Fire rather than return to disbelief after God [Mighty and Majestic is He] has saved him from it.
