Translation

✧ His mother, when she gave birth, they took the child to the Prophet ﷺ for him to perform taḥnīk on him. He said: Suddenly the Prophet ﷺ was in a livestock pen branding sheep. Shuʿbah said: And most of my knowledge is that he said: on their ears.
