حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ وَثَابِتٌ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Ḥammād
  3. Qatādah and Thābit Waḥumayd
  4. Anas b. Mālik

✧ The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to begin the recitation with: Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
