حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

مَا سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] الْجَنَّةَ ثَلَاثًا إِلَّا قَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَلَا اسْتَجَارَ مِنَ النَّارِ مُسْتَجِيرٌ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ إِلَّا قَالَتِ النَّارُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

“Whoever asks for Paradise, three times, Paradise will say: “O Allah, admit him to Paradise.” And whoever asked to be saved from Hell, three times, Hell will say: “O Allah, save him from Hell.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4340)
