حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فِي قَدَحٍ رَحْرَاحٍ، فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ، فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَنْبُعُ، وَجَعَلَ الْقَوْمُ يَتَوَضَّؤُونَ مِنْهُ، وَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ، قَالَ: وَجَعَلَ الْقَوْمُ يَتَوَضَّؤُونَ قَالَ: فَحَزَرْتُ الْقَوْمَ، فَإِذَا مَا بَيْنَ السَّبْعِينَ إِلَى الثَّمَانِينَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ called for water in a wide shallow bowl. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his fingers in the bowl, and the water began to gush forth and flow out from between his fingers. He said: The people began to perform wudu from it, and it kept flowing out from between his fingers. He said: And the people were performing wudu. He said: I estimated the people, and they were between seventy and eighty.
