حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

عَفَوْتُ لَكُمْ عَنِ الْخَيْلِ وَالرَّقِيقِ، فَأَدُّوا صَدَقَةَ الرِّقَةِ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا دِرْهَمًا، وَلَيْسَ فِي تِسْعِينَ وَمِائَةٍ شَيْءٌ، فَإِذَا بَلَغَتْ مِائَتَيْنِ، فَفِيهَا خَمْسَةُ دَرَاهِمَ

Translation

✧ I have exempted you from the zakat on horses and slaves, so pay the zakat on silver: from every forty dirhams one dirham. There is nothing due on one hundred and ninety, but when it reaches two hundred, five dirhams are due.
