حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ
كُنَّا نَأْتِي أَنَسًا، وَخَبَّازُهُ قَائِمٌ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَنَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ: كُلُوا، فَمَا أَعْلَمُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَغِيفًا مُرَقَّقًا بِعَيْنِهِ، وَلَا أَكَلَ شَاةً سَمِيطًا قَطُّ
Translation

✧ We used to come to Anas while his baker was standing. He said: One day he said to us: 'Eat, for I do not know that the Messenger of God ﷺ ever saw a thin loaf of bread with his own eyes, nor ever ate a roasted sheep.'
