حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ شَكَوَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ، فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ، فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا قَمِيصًا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ

✧ Al-Zubayr b. al-ʿAwwām and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAwf complained to the Messenger of God ﷺ about lice, so he permitted them to wear silk. I saw on each of them a shirt of silk.
