✧ We entered upon Anas b. Malik, I and a man from the Ansar, after we had prayed the noon prayer. He called for a slave girl to bring water for ablution. We said to him, 'Which prayer are you going to pray?' He said, 'The afternoon prayer.' We said, 'We have just prayed the noon prayer.' He said, 'I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say, "That is the prayer of the hypocrite: he leaves the prayer until it is between the two horns of Satan, then he prays, remembering God in it only a little."'
