✧ The Prophet ﷺ dozed off briefly, then raised his head smiling. Either he asked them or they asked him, 'Why did you laugh?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'A surah was just revealed to me.' He recited: 'In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar,' until he finished it. He said, 'Do you know what al-Kawthar is?' They said, 'God and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'It is a river that my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, has granted me in Paradise. Upon it there is abundant good. My community will come to it on the Day of Resurrection. Its vessels are as numerous as the stars. A servant will be snatched away from among them, and I will say, "O Lord, he is from my community." Then it will be said to me, "You do not know what they introduced after you."'
