✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ entered the mosque for the last evening prayer, and there they were in scattered groups, so he became angry with an anger such as I never saw him angry with anything more severe than it. Then he said: "If a man were to call the people to a bone or two pieces of meat, they would come to that, and they stay behind from this prayer. I was on the verge of ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would go after the people of these houses whose people stay behind from this prayer and set their homes ablaze with fire."
