حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
مَا مِنْ مَجْرُوحٍ يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ، إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالْجُرْحُ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ جُرِحَ، اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ.

✧ There is no wounded person who is wounded in the path of God — and God knows best who is wounded in His path — but that he will come on the Day of Resurrection with the wound just as it was the day he was wounded: the color is the color of blood and the fragrance is the fragrance of musk.
