✧ Indeed, Ya'juj and Ma'juj dig at the barrier every day, until when they are about to see the rays of the sun, the one in charge of them says: 'Go back, you will dig at it tomorrow.' Then they return to it and it is as strong as it was before. This continues until, when their appointed time has come and Allah [Mighty and Majestic] wills to send them against mankind, they dig until they are about to see the rays of the sun. The one in charge of them says: 'Go back, you will dig at it tomorrow, if Allah wills,' and he makes an exception. Then they return to it, and it is just as they left it. They dig through it and come out upon the people. They drink up the waters, and the people fortify themselves against them in their strongholds. They shoot their arrows into the sky, and they come back with what looks like blood on them. They say: 'We have defeated the people of the earth and overcome the people of the heaven.' Then Allah sends against them worms in their necks, and He kills them with it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the beasts of the earth will grow fat and give thanks from their flesh and blood.'
