حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

النَّاسُ مَعَادِنُ فَخِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِذَا فَقِهُوا.

Translation

✧ People are like ores: the best of them in the time of ignorance are the best of them in Islam, if they gain understanding.
