حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ ثُمَّ تَفَرَّقُوا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللهَ إِلَّا كَأَنَّمَا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ جِيفَةِ حِمَارٍ.

Translation

✧ No people gather together and then disperse without remembering Allah but it is as if they have dispersed from the carcass of a donkey.
