حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

لَا تَلَقَّوُا الْجَلَبَ، فَمَنْ تَلَقَّى مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَصَاحِبُهُ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا أَتَى السُّوقَ.

Translation

✧ Do not go out to meet caravans. Whoever meets one and takes something from it, its owner has the option when he reaches the market.
