حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَبِيحَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
خَيْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ الْمَنِيحَةُ تَغْدُو بِأَجْرٍ وَتَرُوحُ بِأَجْرٍ، مَنِيحَةُ النَّاقَةِ كَعِتَاقَةِ الْأَحْمَرِ، وَمَنِيحَةُ الشَّاةِ كَعِتَاقَةِ الْأَسْوَدِ.

✧ The best charity is the gift of a milch animal: it goes forth with a reward and returns with a reward. The gift of a she-camel is like manumitting a red slave, and the gift of a ewe is like manumitting a black slave.
