Translation

✧ By God, if one of you goes out in the morning and gathers firewood on his back, then sells it and becomes self-sufficient with it and gives charity from it, that is better for him than coming to a man and asking him, who may give him or refuse him. That is because the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and begin with those you support.
