Translation

✧ Whoever prays over a funeral has a qirat recorded for him. If he follows it until its burial is completed, he has two qirats, the smaller of which—or one of them—is like Uhud. That reached Ibn ‘Umar, and he considered it enormous, so he sent to ‘A’ishah, and she said: “Abu Hurayrah has spoken the truth.” Ibn ‘Umar said: “We have indeed neglected many qirats.”
