حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْخَلِيلُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُسْتَنِيرُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ مَعْقِلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ فَأَمَاطَ أَذًى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ فَرَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا فَبَادَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي؟ قَالَ رَأَيْتُكَ تَصْنَعُ شَيْئًا فَصَنَعْتُهُ قَالَ أَحْسَنْتَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَمَاطَ أَذًى عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كُتِبَ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ وَمَنْ تُقُبِّلَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad narrated to us, he said: al-Khalīl b. Aḥmad narrated to us, he said: al-Mustanīr b. Akhḍar narrated to us, he said: Muʿāwiyah b. Qurrah narrated to me, he said: I was with Maʿqil al-Muzanī, and he removed a harmful thing from the road. Then I saw something and hurried to it. He said: "What made you do what you did, O son of my brother?" He said: "I saw you doing something, so I did it." He said: "You have done well, O son of my brother."
✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Whoever removes something harmful from the path of the Muslims, a good deed is written for him, and whoever has a good deed accepted from him will enter the Garden.
