Those who revile one another are two shaytans

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ
عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الرَّجُلُ يَسُبُّنِي؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمُسْتَبَّانِ شَيْطَانَانِ يَتَهَاتَرَانِ وَيَتَكَاذَبَانِ
Translation
✧ ʿIyāḍ b. Ḥimār said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, a man insults me?' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Two people who insult one another are two shaytans, accusing and lying to each other.'"
