حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَحَبِّكُمْ إِلَيَّ وَأَقْرَبِكُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ فَسَكَتَ الْقَوْمُ فَأَعَادَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا قَالَ الْقَوْمُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ أَحْسَنُكُمْ خُلُقًا
Translation
✧ That he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Shall I tell you who among you is most beloved to me and closest to me in sitting on the Day of Resurrection? The people fell silent, so he repeated it two or three times. The people said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: The best of you in character.
