The person who wished he were a slave

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعَبْدُ الْمُسْلِمُ إِذَا أَدَّى حَقَّ اللهِ وَحَقَّ سَيِّدِهِ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ لَوْلاَ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَالْحَجُّ وَبِرُّ أُمِّي لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَمُوتَ مَمْلُوكًا
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: When the Muslim slave fulfills the right of God and the right of his master, he has two rewards. By the One in whose hand is Abū Hurayrah's soul, were it not for striving in God's path, the Hajj, and dutifulness to my mother, I would have loved to die as a slave.
